1045 carbon steel
Designed for light to heavy loads where well fluids are non-corrosive. The best choice for heavy pumping applications where corrosion is not a problem.

Chromium-molybdenum
For light to heavy loads at any depth in mild to medium corrosive well fluids that are effectively inhibited against corrosion. Alloyed to harden and resist corrosion and abrasion.

1045 with hard faced O.D.
Recommended for abrasive and corrosive conditions under moderate to heavy loads. The best corrosion and abrasion resistance of any polished rod on the market today.
High strength stainless
Outperforms 1045 or 4140 in corrosive environments, including salt water. Excellent tensile and torque strength makes it ideally suited for PC pumps.

NACE · unannealed
Designed to solve the most serious corrosion problems. Excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties superior to anything on the market.

PRL Manufacturing's sinker bars, made from hot rolled carbon manganese steel bar stock, deliver concentrated weight above the pump to help keep the rod string straight and in tension, which reduces buckling of the sucker rods or the pump plunger.
Sinker bars are surface turned and have API double sucker rod pins, shoulders, and wrench flats on both ends. One end has a reduced section for elevator seating and lifting.
Epoxy resin lined
A unique application of metals produces a liner with the hardness to resist abrasion, coated inside with epoxy resin to protect against corrosion. Recommended when abrasion or corrosion is a problem.
Special bronze alloy
More resistant to corrosion and harder than regular commercial brass. Highly recommended when corrosion, alignment, or electrolysis is a problem.
